Man missing in Eddy County

CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) - Eddy County Sheriff?s Department is searching for a missing person. Louis Fanning has been missing since Feb. 11, 2011.He is a white male 72 years-old, height 5'-09", weight 175 pounds, hair color gray, eye color brown. He was last seen wearing a blue western style shirt and blue slacks. Fanning is from a residence on Stormy Lane just south of Carlsbad. He suffers from Alzheimer's and a heart condition. Fanning left his residence in his turquoise blue 1993 Ford Ranger extended cab truck displaying New Mexico license plate FBY121. His truck had approximately half a tank of gas and it is estimated that he could've traveled up to 200 miles in any direction. The vehicle should have front end damage from driving through fences in his neighborhood. Fanning is believed to ...
